Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AI Stock Insights application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Before accessing app features, you must acknowledge that this app is educational only and does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, or recommendations.

Before using any AI feature, you must also provide explicit in-app consent to third-party AI data sharing with the providers listed in Section 6.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Subscription Terms

AI Stock Insights offers a subscription service with the following terms:

• Price: $19.99 per month (USD)
• Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial
• Billing: Subscription automatically renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment: Charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Cancellation: You may cancel anytime through your Apple ID Account Settings
• Refunds: No refunds for partial subscription periods; contact Apple for refund requests

3. Account Registration

To use AI Stock Insights, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu in the App.

4. Permitted Use

AI Stock Insights is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Create multiple accounts
• Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to access data not intended for you
• Use automated systems to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or its content

5. AI-Generated Content

AI Stock Insights uses artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) including OpenAI, Google Gemini, and xAI to streamline research by consolidating market data, technical indicators, and news into summaries. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI output is not personalized financial advice or a recommendation
• AI models have knowledge cutoffs and may not reflect the most current information
• You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated content
• The app streamlines analysis—it does not tell you what to do

For AI generation, we send only service-required prompt context such as market/technical data and portfolio/watchlist details you enter. We do not send account email, internal user IDs, or authentication tokens in AI prompts.

Third-party AI processing is service-only and is not used for third-party model training.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of AI Stock Insights is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Your portfolio, watchlist, and selected analysis context may be processed by third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Gemini, xAI) to generate analysis summaries requested in-app.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties and do not allow third-party AI model training from your app data.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of AI Stock Insights—including text, graphics, logos, and software—are owned by Shoreline Dev and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• AI Stock Insights is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• We are not liable for any investment losses or damages arising from use of the App
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shoreline Dev and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service or other users
• Non-payment of subscription fees

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the App's Settings menu.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of AI Stock Insights shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
